Which Venetian material is best for a bathroom?
Alumitex aluminium, or a faux wood. Sunwood and Timberlux are real wood, so they are a poor fit in a steamy room. We advise after seeing the window.
Do you fit real wood Venetians?
Yes. Sunwood is made in the UK. Timberlux is abachi, basswood and bamboo. Both are 35mm and 50mm, with a tape or a standard ladder string. We bring both books so you can compare the grain on your own window.
Can I choose the slat width?
Yes. Real wood and faux wood are 35mm or 50mm. Alumitex is 16mm, 25mm, 35mm or 50mm. Yewdale contract aluminium is 25mm.
Can I have a tape instead of a ladder string?
Yes on Sunwood, Timberlux and faux wood. You choose a tape finish or a standard ladder string. Alumitex uses cords and ladders matched to the slat.
