Room by room
The right blind for each zone
Reception, a mirrored studio, a pool-side room and a treatment room should not get the same blind. We fit each zone for what happens in it.

Screen fabric that takes the direct glare off equipment and screens while keeping the floor bright.

Dimming, blackout or privacy fabric depending on the classes held in the room, on controls an instructor can reach.

Tell us about opening hours, cleaning blocks and the wet and dry zones. We choose fabrics and mechanisms that suit each one and bring the evidence your operator or landlord asks for.

Asbestos control
The asbestos register is checked at induction before any drilling. Work stops if textured coatings, casings or other materials are unconfirmed.

Dust and RPE
On-tool HEPA extraction is carried for masonry drilling. Operatives using P3 RPE were face fit tested in July 2026.

Access equipment
EN 131 professional step ladders are inspected and tagged through the access equipment log.
- 04
Working at height
Two operatives attend: one at height and one acting as the ground-level safety observer.

Child safety
BS EN 13120 child safety devices are fitted and adjusted on every unit.

Contract fabrics
Yewdale contract fabrics certified to BS 5867 Part 2 Type B, with the certificate for the specified fabric supplied on every commercial order. A Type C certified fabric is available where the specification calls for it.

We use the timetable to find room groups we can work in, rather than asking for the whole centre to close.

Barriers, equipment moves and which rooms stay open are agreed with the duty manager before we start.

What helps with a pool-side enquiry?
Photographs, ventilation details and a clear note of which windows sit inside the humid zone help separate those openings from ordinary dry rooms.
Can studios be treated differently from the gym floor?
Yes. Tell us what happens in each studio and we spec it for that, whether it needs dimming, blackout, privacy or screen visibility.
Are the fabrics wipe clean and fire rated?
Screen and blackout fabrics from the Yewdale contract range are certified to BS 5867 Part 2 Type B, with the certificate supplied on every commercial order, and they wipe down as part of the cleaning routine.
Can you fit outside opening hours?
Yes. We work around your hours, supply RAMS before we start, and typically fit within 7 to 10 days of the survey.
