What are plantation shutters?
Plantation shutters are made-to-measure interior shutters with adjustable louvres, fitted inside the window recess or on a frame. The louvres tilt for daylight and privacy, and the panels fold or slide clear when you want the full view.
What are your plantation shutters made from?
We make shutters from hardwood or moisture-resistant MDF. Hardwood suits living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms; MDF is the choice for bathrooms, kitchens and wet rooms. The surveyor recommends the right material for each room.
Which shutter style suits a bay window?
That depends on the angles, opening sections and how you use the room. The survey lets BBS plan the panel arrangement accurately.
