The brief
What the site needed.
Global Banking School is a university centre in Universal Square, Manchester. BBS fitted navy roller blinds through the new staff offices and kitchens, and across all the student classrooms.
In the classrooms the roller blinds run in matching lines across each window, so a lecturer can drop them and the projector screen is readable. The staff side is a set of meeting rooms themed after Manchester landmarks, Old Trafford, the Etihad, the Hacienda, Canal Street and more, and each one takes the same navy roller so the rooms match whatever is on the walls.
The staff kitchens and break areas have wide windows between exposed brick columns, fitted with large single rollers. One fabric colour runs through the whole centre. Fitted by BBS’s own fully employed installation team, all Enhanced DBS.

Navy rollers in matching runs across the classroom windows, so screens and projectors can be seen when the blinds are down.

The same navy roller in the new staff offices and meeting rooms, each room themed after a Manchester landmark.

Large rollers on the wide kitchen and break area windows, set between the exposed brick columns.

One colour
One navy fabric from the classrooms to the staff kitchens, so the whole centre reads as one fit out.
