The brief
What the site needed.
Keady Construction’s new headquarters in Kent needed one window treatment that would hold together across very different openings. Framed windows that open inwards sit alongside full height curtain walling, and a single fixing method would have suited one and spoilt the other.
BBS specified premium white aluminium venetian blinds throughout, then varied only the way they are hung. Perfect Fit frames were used on the inward opening windows so the blind travels with the light and the window still works. The curtain walling was given free hang venetians so the glazed elevations read the same as the rest of the building.
The result runs from the reception space through private offices and open plan working areas to the boardrooms, every window finished to the same standard. It is also the clearest evidence on file that the BBS install team works well outside the North West.
