The beginning

Blinds By Saigon (known as BBS) retired and BBS Window Blinds was born, during the summer of 2016. The British sun was pumping out a near 30°C, Greater Manchester was melting and in desperate need of solar shading. Keeping to the local roads BBS did roam; surveying and installing blinds in good Mancunian’s homes. The hard work invested in those early days would see its return when the available jobs burst open, soon enough requests started coming in from beyond the city.

A few roller blinds for Sheffield. Some venetians for Liverpool. Verticals in Leeds! Whatever the customer needed, BBS was there to advise and provide. In time the next step forward appeared, it was daunting but very welcomed. The commercial sector came a-knocking. It began with work in the form of estate agent properties and school maintenance. Ascend, SPIE and a few others. The workload grew and stronger relationships were formed amongst clients, suppliers and the BBS team.

A second van, another employee, increased work led to increased reviews, boosting reputation and trust. However, not every job proceeds perfectly and when they didn’t, BBS strived to correct mistakes and keep the customer feeling like they mattered. Something we still care about to this day. Adopting new lines of work comes with new challenges, but nothing would compare to the challenge that arrived in early 2020. Still BBS endured, coming out strong and ready to push business even further. More commercial clients, larger projects and a healthy stream of work meant it was time to get hiring. The BBS team grew steadily, soon the humble pair of work vans became a quintet and before anyone knew it, BBS were here there and everywhere; completing jobs across the nation. From schools in Glasgow to blocks of flats in London, we’ve even installed blinds in Wales quite a few times.

Here we are, proudly installing window blinds 7 years later. We’re fully dedicated to offering the best window products alongside considerate customer service. Offering both competitive prices and timescales, while maintaining quality considerate work.
